Split This Rock Poetry Festival: Venues 2016
Workshops, panels, and readings are held at venues clustered in the Farragut Square neighborhood of downtown DC, the heart of the capital’s social justice community. We are grateful to the many organizations -- many of which are working for peace & justice in our world -- for welcoming the festival into their buildings. Check them out below!
The neighborhood is easily accessible by public transportation, walking distance to the Farragut North Metro station on the Red Line and Farragust West, serving the Blue and Orange Lines. It is also served by many bus lines. Check out Metro's website and the festival's Getting Here & Getting Around page for more information.
Some things to know: On-site festival registration and check-in will be held at Human Rights Campaign. Featured poet readings will be held at the National Geographic. The official festival hotel is the Beacon Hotel.
